The Sea Fling Cocktail
A vodka cocktail featuring lime leaf and ginger. Refreshing and topped with a light and dreamy egg white foam.
To make lime leaf ginger syrup: boil 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, ~7-10 lime leaves, and a thumb sized piece of ginger sliced. Boil for 5 minutes or until leaves start to wilt. Remove from heat and let steep until cool. Strain and set aside.
For cocktail: shake 2 ounces vodka, 0.75 ounces lime ginger syrup, 0.5 ounce lime juice, 1/8 teaspoon almond extract (or 0.25 ounce orgeat or amaretto), and 1 egg white. Shake vigorously. Add ice and shake again. Strain into glass and top with a dust of cinnamon.
